How KiddoRead was born
A few years ago we were sitting with a friend who was really stressed and depressed about her 8 year old struggling at school with all her subjects. She turned to us for any ideas on what she could do and we thought about increasing her fluency in reading to start with. We tried the basic principles of what is now KiddoRead on her and they worked like magic. In a few weeks ALL her grades improved and her teachers were shocked.
Talks grew within our circle of friends and soon we were approached by a few others to help their kids read and comprehend within a record time. One of the kids was a 3 year old and he started reading fluently within 3 months.. We decided to try out the 'secret' techniques on a few more friends' kids and before long we had so many parents calling us for help. We didn't really want to go mainstream, but decided that we needed to help these kids, and so KiddoRead was born

Reading Early is so Important…
Studies indicate that children starting school with a strong base of reading abilities are far more likely to excel in all academic learning areas, whereas kids who have not built these vital skills will often have a problematic time learning new skills and could fall far behind their contemporaries.
The skills gap can often be eliminated with the correct teaching and additional care. However as the child gets older the skills gap gets bigger it can become increasingly challenging to align the skills of children who do not read fluently with those that do. Even the most dedicated student will struggle if they cannot read fluently by the age of 9. This affects self-confidence and learning in all areas.
